What An Absolute Fuck-Up Of Epic Proportions

There is simply no other way to describe the national security catastrophe that has happened the past week. For those who are unaware of what’s happening, here’s a quick rundown:

On March 15th, the United States armed forces launched an attack against the Houthis in Yemen. Leading up to the attack, a group chat was started on Signal, an unsecured encrypted messaging app. The group chat contained National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, VP Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, DNI Tulsi Gabbard, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and several others. This group chat discussed details of the attack, including times and targets. After the attack, they even shared confirmation on attack targets. 

How do we know all of this? Well these fucking geniuses added Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief for The Atlantic. He detailed these texts in a story he released in the Atlantic on March 24th. Since that story came out, they have all denied it sharing classified information and specific details of the attack, both which are lies. To make matters worse, Gabbard & Ratcliffe committed perjury by lying under oath to Congress. 

And now, a new report has come out stating that several members of the chat have had their email addresses, contact information, and even passwords leaked on the internet. Meaning that any hostile combatant or country could hack in and see into each person's mobile device at any time. This is a security breach way behind anything Hillary Clinton ever did. 

Now, Pete Hegseth should absolutely be fired. He’s completely unqualified. He’s got a history of abuse, both spouses and alcohol. He’s already been captured drinking at press conferences on the job, when he promised he would quit drinking. He’s way in over his head and he needs to be shown the door. 

Mike Waltz should be fired for the sheer incompetence he displayed. Adding a reporter to a group chat where you’re sharing classified, top-secret information? Yeah, get the fuck out buddy. What a god damn moron.

Tulsi Gabbard & John Ratcliffe, while not sharing information, did perjure themselves in front of Congress. They both need to resign & should be charged with perjury. But Trump and Pam Bondi obviously won’t do that.

So what can Democrats do? Well, not a whole lot. They can release statements and hold hearings, but unless the Republicans are willing to apply pressure on Trump (LOL), we know that nothing will happen.

But what’s even worse, is the whimper that they seem to be going out with. Because it feels like no matter how they message this, they’re not doing an effective job breaking through.

Meanwhile, this has taken a ton of attention (which it absolutely should), but during the same time, Trump has issued an executive order on federal elections, in what is essentially a power grab as he tries to wrestle control away from the states. Speaker Mike Johnson has called for the elimination of federal courts. And Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza where American doctors work, hours after they went on CNN detailing the horrors they are seeing on a daily basis and condemning Presidents Biden & Trump as well as Western media for their complicity in this genocide. Just a few hours ago, Israel attacked tents camps and an aid kitchen for displaced Palestinians.

There’s a ton of madness in the world. And if the past few days has shown us anything, it’s that we are completely unprepared with Donald Trump and his bunch of fucking morons running the show.
